📣 Important Team Update: Point Requirements & Open Board Positions

Good morning Team!

📣Points Requirement

As a board, we have decided to lower the seasonal volunteer requirement from 10 points to 6 points.

To ensure all families have a fair opportunity to reach this new goal, we encourage everyone to initially only sign up for only one job per meet. Please note that you can also earn points for non-meet team activities! If you are interested in helping with our end-of-year banquet or other team events, please speak directly with a board member.

🏆 Championships Requirement

The volunteer requirement for Champs is still in place. However, if you have a scheduling conflict and cannot attend, please reach out to Amy (Team Director) or Sarah Bernardy (Director of Ways and Means) as soon as possible so we can find alternative ways for you to support the team.

🤝 Join the Board: Open Positions for Next Season!

We are actively recruiting for several key positions for the upcoming season. If you or someone you know might be interested, please chat with a board member for more details:

  • Team Director (VP #1): Inform members of league/facility updates (dates, directions to meets, special requirements, and championship info). Coordinate meet and Champs volunteers alongside the Volunteer Coordinator.
  • Director of Ways and Means (VP #2): Lead the team’s fundraising activities throughout the year and oversee the end-of-year banquet committee.
  • Equipment Manager: Maintain the team equipment inventory, coordinate meet setups, and arrange for equipment transportation.
